Bru loves to play with her brother. We have at LEAST 6 fluffy dog beds from Costco, Barbie needed to have a rest in each room. I have moved 4 of them out to the back patio. Bru barks and play bows and then jumps onto each of the beds to have Corvey come and wrestle with her where it is soft. She is trying to train him to come to her bark, he doesn't get it. His presence has made her more attentive because he is an attention whore and as everyone knows, 'there can be but one'. I'm going to use this competitive edge for my own training purposes.
Stopped at Portillo's for dinner. Bill was looking in the fridge for the chocolate chip ice cream and I got up to point out where it was. My sandwich has gone the way of the stealth beagle. Corvey was permitted to suck on the used wrapping paper.
Rachel and I drove out beyond the fringe, past the lower bowels of Riverside to Perris. We were in search of the mysterious curiosity of why the hell would Martha Stewart lend her designer name to a housing tract in Perris. Perhaps she hadn't heard correctly, 'No not THAT Paris'... We are now driving the Ramona Expressway. Huh must be near here, there is another billboard with Martha's picture. Damn it why didn't I bring the camera showing the billboard and the huge stack of pallets and crap under and all around the domestic goddess!!! This is past March Airforce Base. My immediate thought was ok we will get off the road and pass some of the ranchettes and come upon the tract... Instead we entered a never ending plague of new housing developments. THOUSAND and THOUSANDS of box homes, no yards, bad names. Further and further we drove, there was NO grocery store, still we drive...Who in the hell lives out here? Where the hell do these people work? Is this a side industry of the war? Are all these homes being sold to people working on the AFB? Gee there is a rise we are approaching... Surely we can't be going FURTHER. Suddenly a miracle occurs. We have reached 'Olive Grove' cute exteriors with 5 sample model homes in the middle of a tract that isn't 1/4 built up yet. I had earlier invited Sheila my MIL, but she wasn't interested she said she had already been through so many design homes. I don't think she got it, we weren't going for the good reasons we were going to practice our own vice verb, mocking. More later...
