I hates me DRAMA, BAD drama, BAD BAD BAD... I've a friend who has made SO many bad decisions and its like she has been feeding aligators growth hormone because they are so big and have big big teeth. In some parts of her life she is so competent and bright. Its so difficult being a friend to someone who plays ostrich. Today she reached up toward the sun, its not easy, extreme reality sandwich. Maybe she will retain the clarity. Eh...
Went to get the donkey named Lizzy today. Menifee, this is where the double-wides (manufactured homes)breed. 'Then ya git off the hard road...' I pull into the yard NOT one blade of any plant life. This was a good thing because the entire hill around the property was burned two weeks ago. From the house on the hill poured out the most concentrated group of ugly dogs I have ever seen. A bassalope, a bassabeagle, a FAT wort hog beagle, a tri pod of a fox terrior, a gorgon, some other thing with fins and a hefty drool...The family is all out by the horses, and lead the donkey out, she isn't exactly a beauty, she sees the trailer and makes up her mind that it can't get her. Nope, no matter who leads her she will only get to the point of putting her front hooves onto the ramp... then a human moves and she darts way.. time passes... more time passes... we age... its now about an hour. Look these people are giving me the donkey for free, they have the right to try this however they choose, even if it is badly. Trying to force a donkey not a great way to spend a life. I suggest that they take that thick long rope over by the barn and loop it around her butt and then put the humans to each side of the ramp. No escape. OK well there is only one choice get into the trailer and start munching on the hay. She moved in just fine because it was HER decision. She road just fine. Stopped in Norco on the way to Al's got 4 bags of 80 lbs of A&M for the horses. Pulled onto the property past Devore. Put the tail of the trailer down and over trots Charles. He being the typical lothario let loose a LONG fog horn bray. Lizzy is not impressed and kicks at him as she exits.
