Guilty feelin's

So I mentioned in a previous post about our new houseguest kitty. Being an obvious outdoor cat, we've been somewhat coerced into letting her out to roam the neighborhood occassionally. She gets really restless and loud when she's cooped up for more than 2 days. So we let her out on Saturday morning to go roam around and enjoy the nice warm ( Read more... )

I hope she comes back before you get too worried!

But I can understand letting her out - my cat would have gone crazy if we'd kept her inside all the time. (I would too, being stuck in the same house your whole life?) We sometimes worried about her, because she'd get in fights with cats and other animals, but I think it was better for her than being cooped up all the time.

Aw. I get just as worried about our outdoor babies, especially the one that has adopted me as her mommy but I know that I can't bring them in because it would wreak havoc with my indoor babies. I put an insulated house out in the back with blankets and I'm pretty sure they use that to stay warm. Cold weather sucks. :/

Oh, I'm sorry to hear! Cats have good survival skills; I hope she comes back! It is quite possible she's shacking up with someone else due to bad weather.

Let us know if she comes back. I've only ever had indoor-only cats, but I can see this stress. :/
