I had a fairly quiet weekend.
A strange pale poppy bloomed in the garden this weekend amidst all that red. I hope it re-seeds.
On Saturday evening, while everyone else was at gaming, I drove down to the river to see if storm clouds would blow in round sunset. No storm, but it did get very dark in the north at one point.
As I left for home, the clouds to the south were especially pretty over the salt marsh.
On Sunday, we took a walk down the street to investigate the many different kinds of daylilies blooming wild along the roadsides. In addition to the common orange ones, there are also two types of peach-coloured ones. I want divisions of them for my own garden.
On the way home, I found a white heart-shaped rock along the side of the road and took it home for my collection.
