Miss Schbeiker has succeeded in cajoling me into making an addition to this blasted LiveJournal account.
Apparently she believes that I possess some fascinating news which I am burning to share with the general populace; however, that is not the case.
The Cinq Kingdom ministers are simply pressing state matters in a decidedly pointed manner which I cannot ignore. In my capacity as Foreign Minister to the World Sphere, I outrank them, but my station as the Cinq Kingdom Princess places me in a subordinate position to theirs.
It is a difficult dichtotomy to navigate, but the end result is easily explained:
In matters of political life, I am free to do as I wish.
In matters of personal life, I am the royal representative of the Cinq Kingdom. That is all.
However, my ministers are under the mistaken impression that I am a WARD of the Cinq Kingdom and all MY behaviors and ACTIONS are subject to my MINISTERS' dictation AND editing, which they are NOT.
As one can imagine, the last conversation I had with the Head Minister of the Cinq Kingdom ended on rather a stormy note.
Despite the value I place on compromise, I do not regret that stormy note, for the pontificating, sanctimonious chauvinist deserved it.
To any of my ministers who may in all improbability be reading this:
I am quite happy doing exactly what I am doing, and any more pressure towards a different course will only make me more obstinate. I do not flatter myself in saying that I am an infalliable charter of my own course, but I do believe myself to be more in tune with my own wants and needs than Your Honors.
As per my duty towards the Cinq Kingdom itself, I have already begun selecting candidates. Thank you for your concern.
