My first band practice!
So I finally got around to that long awaited jam session with Justin. It was pretty fun. I went over to his apartment complex and we jammed in his garage. He had asked me to learn "Emergency" and "My Heart" by Paramore, which I had absolutely no problem with because I love Paramore. "My Heart" came really easily to us and we played through it a few times without any vocals cause neither of us could remember the lyrics. We never really got to "Emergency" 'cause Justin couldn't remember the lead part and couldn't get on the internet 'cause the cable was down. He's a lot of fun to play with but it's never gonna get serious simply because we have almost nothing in common musically. We both love Paramore. That's it. All he listens to is emo... and to say I hate emo would be an understatement. Accuracy might involve the term "mega-loath" (thank you, scrubs) but in the mean time, he's a good guy, a decent guitarist and fun to jam with... so I'm in. As in as I can possibly be when I'm moving in a few months. ;)
