The Inner Sailor Soldiers arrive all at once, accompanied by the masked Tuxedo Kamen. Sailor Moon runs towards the Outer Scouts, "What's happened? What are you fighting? We came to help!!"
"It's not your place!" Uranus yells at the team. "Leave us! Get away!"
"Don't say that!" Sailor Moon brings a clenched hand up to her chest.
Kneeling still inside Hotaru's bedroom, ChibiUsa watches the exchange, not thinking to undergo transformation into her Sailor Soldier persona herself, when there is a shift in the air behind her. She turns and looks up to see that a red-haired woman dressed in black has suddenly appeared behind her.
"You should have listened to your elders, little girl," Kaolinite smirks, reaching a hand over ChibiUsa.
Sailor Moon sees the girl inside suddenly. She pushes past Sailor Uranus, panicked, "ChibiUsa?!!"
Kaolinite's hand emits a blast of light. ChibiUsa shouts in pain, falling back; Kaolinite catches her in one arm, stooping close to the floor to catch her.
"CHIBIUSA!!!" Sailor Moon screams.
Kaolinite stands back up, and as she disappears, holding ChibiUsa in her arms, a strange, high-pitched voice calls from above the Soldiers outside.
"Haruka Tenou! Michiru Kaiou! Fugitives from Infinity College... I've found you!"
Without delay, Cyprine, the last Witch at Level 999, begins her attack.

Below, in a lower part of Tomoe Laboratories, Hotaru sits in a regal chair, dressed in a strange costume of frills and bows. Below her is a stone altar.
From thin air, Kaolinite phases into sight by the altar. "I've captured it, Professor, I've captured the Silver Imperium Crystal!"
He emerges from the shadows surrounding everything, hands thrust into his lab coat pockets. "Place her upon the altar."
Kaolinite does so and steps back.
"Mistress Nine... awaken. You have energy to take, and you must take it."
Hotaru stirs awake and lifts her head slowly. Then just as slowly, she opens her eyes -- and they shine with red light.
