Nike's Reuse-A-Shoe
Did you know that the soles of running shoes can take up to 1000 years to decompose in a landfill? Millions are thrown away each year, according to Nike.
When you're done with your running shoes, you can put them to good by sending them to Nike. Nike grinds up the soles to use them to make tracks, fill for underneath playground equiptment and other similar things.
The shoes don't have to be Nike, but they can't have metal in or on them, can't be dress shoes or cleats and can't be wet.
