I saw Phantom Planet last nite, and it broke my heart. I've wanted to see them for 5 years and I've tried 3 times.. and I've met them 2 of those times. What broke my heart was the fact that some of the band are SO obviously on drugs. I never really got into phantom planet. obviously they have a loyal following, and i believe they even released on interscope "which is nothing to scoff at". i feel the same way about people in bands who smoke ciggarettes. i mean, musically, it does so much damage to your throat, and asophagous "and untold damage to everything else". it sort of is surreal to me whenever i see someone in the band smoking, or the many people in the crowd who are smoking.

bryn. i have confirmation of the data that you gave me. it is all ages...it sucks because it was advertised in the paper "the stranger" as being an "all ages show", in the "all ages catagory". oh well though. were going to support some portland, and seattle bands that are in my "HIGHLY ESTEEMED MUSICAL OPINION" better than the likes of which we would hear at the crocodile cafe.
