Gilded Lilys sounds so completely awesome I hope it gets picked up for a full series and I hope it kills Torchwood dead. I wouldn't adverse to seeing Jack in Doctor Who (even though I don't watch Doctor Who) but please no more Torchwood.

Sounds like you aren't a sci-fi fan, then? Funny, as that's what I said about myself all the time. Never had watched any "Star Trek" (grew up in Eastern Germany, there was no Kirk and Spock in my childhood, and later I never really could get into it), and didn't like "Star Wars", and never watched any other sci-fi series, of which there were so many on TV. I think space-ships are boring ( ... )

There are haters for Gilded Lilys already? Um, wow, I can't believe that. Is it from big Torchwood fans who want it to return? I quite excited by it and really hope it's good.

You're right, I'm not much of a sci-fi fan and Torchwood was probably the first sci-fi that I ever watched. I do read a little bit though and I really like that post-apocalyptic type of sci-fi. Especially if it was written in 1950s like The Day of the Triffids

Well, it's just that one girl/woman, actually. And she does not only hate this new series, from what I read on her journal in several entries there is not much that seems to please her, be it movies or TV series in general ( ... )

I too watched Desperate Housewives, since the beginning and I agree that it's so much more than a soap - I can't wait to see how the final season plays out. I have never watched Grey's Anatomy though - I have watched a bit of Private Practice, which is a spin off - I like what I saw.

I still haven't seen the Sherlock Holmes movies because I really like "Sherlock"

I'm curretnly watch season 8 of DH - we'll get it all in one go, which is good. I did one of those 'which housewife are you'quizes a while ago - apparently I'm a Susan, lol. I love how excited John was about being in DH - he's so adorable.

OMG - I loved Boston Legal, such a great show

She's an interesting kind of crazy - really mean about some things but really nice about other. *shrugs*

I like six feet under but I still haven't seen the final series at all - I really should just watch it to complete things. I am all about Game of Thrones at the moment though
