There's soon going to be
a giant replica of a human colon not too far from my office, according to
a news story that was sent to me today. It's 20 feet long and eight feet high. You can walk through it. I've never been inside of a fake colon before, so I'm definitely going to write this down in my planner.
The
Internal Residue Service accepted my tax return, so I mailed in my
Form 8453-OL today. Maybe I'll do my state taxes this weekend.
After taking a short break from books about Iran, I've resumed reading
Even After All This Time: A Story of Love, Revolution, and Leaving Iran. I'm simultaneously reading
The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9/11 Investigation.
Its author is a
New York Times journalist, but despite his work for a media giant that tends to be a lapdog for state and corporate power, his book is worthwhile reading so far. His writing style reminds me a little bit of
Craig Unger's.
