Mauro wasn’t worried about getting along with his teammates - he had played in Juventus for a while now, and had some close friends, particularly Gianluca Zambrotta - but he did wish a few things could be different, like his height. It wasn’t his fault that his genes weren’t kind to him!
“Better focus on more positive things,” he thought. Their match against Germany had gone off without a hitch. “Those young players don’t stand a chance, even at home,” he smiled to himself, “If we get to play against them in the World Cup, it’ll be the easiest match ever.”
