They stagger though the door together (for the umpteenth time) and collapse on the couch, a familiar tangle of arms and legs. Bobo is propped in the corner of the sofa with his eyes closed; Pippo scrambles inelegantly (drunkenly) near (on top of) him, trying to get comfortable.
There is hair in Bobo's mouth (there always is), a bony shoulder blade digging between his ribs, and elbows batter him irregularly. He grunts, eyes still closed, and lifts a clumsy arm to shove Pippo aside. But the shove turns into a caress (it always does), and Pippo (mostly) stops moving.
