He had been so nervous back then. He had told himself to focus on the game, and just forget who were on the other half of the field.
They were just another opposing team, weren’t they?
After the game; face to face with their captain, he had regained his presence of mind. He had accepted the handshake shyly, had not been able to hold the gaze for more than a split second. That touch, that look had felt like fire against his skin.
Ten years later, nothing has changed.
He’s not nervous anymore, though. There’s complete trust between them now.

“You have to learn.” Carles is chuckling, but his expression is emotionless, almost hard. He is using his weight to pin Bojan down on the bed, and holding the young boy’s wrists in a tight grip. Just tight enough to prevent the fighting from being successful; just painful enough to show who’s boss.
He can’t help smiling when they catch eye contact a moment later; more of a smirk, just with his lips. There is still defiance in the younger man’s eyes, even though his expression is one of pure fear.
