He doesn't have to notice the light dimming or the roar of the city dying down to know that he has been out for far too long again. But there is so precious little time left, so he turns his back to the setting sun (ignoring how his shadow now mingles with the shadows on the pitch that are slowly closing in on him) and starts the routine all over again even though the pain is creeping up his legs and he knows that there will be another hard training tomorrow. But that's the whole point of this, isn't it?
