Emirates roared, Cesc screamed in his ear and it was deafening, all of it. Theo tried to focus but so many things were happening all at once; the goal, the opponent's defenders protesting and the ref trying to calm everybody down. Amidst all that, Cesc had him in a kind of semi headlock, walking off with him as if he was a trophy of some sort.
Squirming, Theo timidly muttered to the Spaniard that he was hurting him, but his voice got lost in the noise and on the other hand, there were worse things than being manhandled by Cesc.
