“I hate painting, why are we doing this again?”
“Because, it’s going to be our room.”
“I know that, but why go through all of this?”
The brush stopped moving across the wall. It was dropped on the floor as Francesco wrapped his arms around the other man, his face buried in the back of his neck.
“I thought I was suppose to be the dumb one, Alessa.”
“You’re not dumb Fra, just a bit on the slow side.”
Alessandro waited and smiled until Francesco finally caught on.
“Hey!”
“Oh Fra, the paint fumes must have finally gotten to you.”

They sat there together, talking quietly and laughing every now and then.
“I’m thinking I need to do something new.”
“Such as?” Alessandro encouraged Francesco.
“I don’t know, I already gave birth to the football and the baby is going to be born soon, that‘s quite a big thing.”
“Well, if the baby is a thumb-sucker you could always suck your thumb when you score a goal?” Alessandro suggested with a shrug.
“That is a good idea.”
“It is. But right now, I have something you can suck on.”
Both Captain's grinned as Alessandro undid the zipper to his jeans.

He sat in his room, alone. Philippe had a million thoughts racing through his mind. A knock at the door made him jump and he watched as his new teammate, and appointed roommate, come walking in.
“I brought some dinner,” Daniele said in Italian.
Philippe frowned and Daniele laughed as he put the food down, walking over to him. He glanced at the French-Italian dictionary in his lap.
“I can help you, if you want,” Daniele said, this time in French.
Philippe looked surprised.
“Yeah, I know a bit of French,” Daniele winked. “Just don’t tell anyone.”
Philippe laughed, “promise.”
