Episode 43: Guess Who. ;)

Jun 06, 2011 19:14

It seems the Sims 2 chapters are going to take much less time than I anticipated, since my computer crashed last year and I recently discovered that a lot of my screenshots were lost. That can’t be helped, so we must press on with the Conny And Gran Show.

Here comes Lobby, moving in with Megan and Gran.

Oh, yes, we like people who bring 105,946 Simoleons!

Gran (and her ladybirds) are very pleased.

Time for a quick happy dance. (Still with his do rag on, of course, since it appears even the army can’t make him take it off. He’d probably keep it on if they sent him into space.)

...Oh.

To celebrate his new job he told Andrei stories about rocket ships,

and, er whatever that orange blob is.

Soon he had a garage befitting his mechanical talents, and spent all his time making over cars

to look like Da Costa’s hideous Lamborghini. (Which is also an orange blob. Maybe that's what he was telling Andrei about earlier?)

(The talents came in handy for fixing the shower, too.)

Doglet was having fun in his usual ways: attacking postmen,

doing sychronised snoring with Froglet (note Gran’s cooking award in the background)

and going to work as a... medi-dog?

But there was another new arrival!

The socks have it: it’s Conny. Hurrah!

Conny Sim enjoyed lecturing people

possibly a bit more than they enjoyed being lectured.

She also liked winter sports

and, well, just standing around being cute.

(And sleepy.)

While she did effete wimpy sports like swimming,

Gran tackled her private assault course.

(Gran generally seems to enjoy things that other people find painful, such as chatting up Cassano, for example.)

Chatting up Cesare, on the other hand - I think a lot of people could get behind that.

He acted all coy,

but eventually succumbed. Nice work, Gran.

While Gran hit the town, Conny was boogying.

(Contrary to appearances, she is not dancing to the coffee maker.)

Her dance moves were... unorthodox.

Especially that “falling over” one. Anyway, her pregnant friend decided to join in.

I would not dream of describing Conny’s reaction as hypocritical. ;)

Never mind! All that dancing practice came in handy when she was doing her “Honey, I’m home” routine with Lobby.

Perfectly co-ordinated! (I love the badges on his EVA. *Squints* “Maxis”, “EA” and “Sims”? It pleases me when they attend to the details.)

(Doglet didn’t join in with the happy dance, but then, he’s a dog.)

Who’s this visiting?

It’s Helen Svedin! (No, really, it is. Even if you can’t tell, it’s her.)

Helen doesn’t like camping, it appears.

(Mamen Gonzalez was there, too. She didn’t get to do anything this time, but I thought it was important to record her presence.)

Helen seemed to like Conny’s bedroom (and dog),

though one item was particularly noticeable...

(To be continued)

conny, bogdan lobont, gran
