It doesn't really sink in until he drops his phone on the bedside table and has a few minutes alone with his thoughts, and then he's just afraid for Cesc, he feels guilty for getting him into this mess even though he had no way of even knowing it was possible. He still feels at fault.
Cesc stirs and stretches and finally looks up at him. His eyes are puffy and red. He slides up further to let Geri kiss him and then he lays back on the bed and stares at the ceiling for a while before turning to face him.
"I'm sorry," he says.
"For what?"
"Oh, come on. You know what."
"Last time I checked, it takes two people to make a baby. It's as much my fault as it is yours."
"But-"
"Cesc. You didn't know this could happen any more than I did. It's not your fault."
"You called it a baby," Cesc says quietly. He starts to cry again.
"Hey, hey. I'm sorry, I don't know what I'm supposed to-"
"Just tell me what you want me to do."
"Cesc, that's up to you."
"I don't want it to be up to me!" Cesc covers his face with his hands. "It's ours, not mine."
"It's your body, Cesc. You're the one that has to..."
Cesc sniffs. "What if I keep it? What'll happen to us? What about the team?"
"Nothing will happen to us, except. You know. We'll be dads. We'll figure the other stuff out."
"How are you so fucking calm about this?"
"I don't know," Geri says, because he really doesn't know. It's all so surreal, still.
"It would be so much easier if I just got rid of it."
"Yeah, it would."
"But what are the odds this could happen?"
"It's a miracle, really."
"Doesn't that make you think there's a reason for it?"
Geri can see what he wants to hear, he can tell that Cesc has already made up his mind. And Geri only wants what Cesc wants, that's just the way it's always been.
"Of course there's a reason," Geri says. "Let's do it."
"Really?" Cesc whispers.
Geri kisses him. "Yeah."

I'm not a big fan of Fabrique or Mpreg but I just love this fill like there's no tomorrow. And Geri only wants what Cesc wants, that's just the way it's always been. :')
