(no subject)
The party at Kent's yesterday was awesome! He has a huge house, so some people played soccer, some pool, some geeked out on the computers, some watched TV and some played video games. There was even a little bit of chess involved. And no one fought! Now, I always thought our friends were capable of that, and that just proves my point, but I also think no one fought because of Kent. He has a very positive aura about him, I can't even feel negative around him at all. So he is a good influence on all of us, which is why everybody loves to have him around. Thanks Kent!!! ^_^
Me and Jen got along just like we always used to be, and I am extremelly happy about that.
Most of the night I played pool. I must say, comparing to the way I used to play before, I've gotten A LOT better! I can even say that I'm good now! Thanks to Peter, actually, because his final few advices to me perfected my skills. Now I just have to get my angles a bit better. I played against Trev, and he won. We had only the black ball to go, so it's ok - close game. Last time I won in exactly the same way. Me and Kathy had 2 games, the same thing with the black ball, we got away with a victory each. Same thing with Irina, we were equal with one victory each. Peter is an expert beyond experts, so I lost, obviously, but I had only two balls to go, so I'm glad I got that far. I played Dina a few times - won all except for one where I accidentally sunk the black ball in. But that was her first time playing in her life. I would say - not bad for a rookie, put up a relatively good fight (even though I sunk in most of her balls as well as my own, so could've just played against myself, lol). Me and Jen had a close game, but she sunk in the white and black ball, therefor losing. Kent beat me pretty badly. But I had much more wins than looses, so yah.
I also played Simpson chess against Kent. I was losing, but then Dina took over and lost. lol At least it doesn't go on MY record. ^_^
All in all, it was a great night, and everyone enjoyed themselves, so once again, thanks Kent!!!!
P.S. Trev's getting his hair cut today. If his Mom screws up or something, he'll be bold. Sorry, but I want that to happen. Bald is CUTE!!!!!!
P.P.S. I'M IN LOVE WITH KENT'S CAT!!!!! (Poor thing has been so harrassed by Dina, I feel sorry for it. She doesn't seem to ever care how the animal feels or what the animal wants.)
