Ok. University update. As you may or may not know, I applied to 11 Universities (as opposed to 3 like everybody else), because I thought I'd be lucky to be accepted to even one. And...
I have 6 early admissions up to date!! The normal admissions will start coming in in about a month or a bit more, but I already got 6!! :D
AND one University sent me a paper saying I'm their "University Scholar" and offered me $2000 scholarship for the first year!! For the other universities, I am still eligible for scholarships raging between $1000-$2000!! Hee!!!
Now, mind you, the one University I was most hoping to go to didn't get back to me yet, but you wouldn't know how good I feel. My whole life my Mom said that with my marks I shouldn't dream of universities. My guidance councilors told me that by planning on going to university I'm "setting my goals too high and setting myself up for diappointment", because my marks were always average.
Well, they can all just go and shove it! I've gotten into some universities which are very hard to get into, and which ask for a slightly higher average than mine!!! This is more of a confidence boost than I've ever had. I mean, no offense to my mother, but she made me apply to 11 universities (and spend like $400 in the process) because she said that that's how many I need to insure myself at least one acceptance.
Well, I'd like to see her face when I get into all of them, because looking at the universities that have already accepted me, I have no doubt the rest will follow.

So all of you out there who thought I wasn't good enough can just go and suck it, because how dare you feed me all that bullshit and actually make me believe it?! I mean, I was freaking out and just a big ball of nerves for months!!
