I'm making a comic strip of the opening scene in Romeo and Juliet. It's so much more time-consuming than I thought, yet also SO much fun. So I'm going to try and make it at LEAST until the Montague boys enter. Then maybe some day I'll animate it. OH MY GOD SOMEDAY I WILL ANIMATE IT. And it will be awesome. This much is for sure.
I just had a really nice video chat with my sister, and I think I shall go read King Lear. Last night I was determined to plow through the rest of R&J until I'd finished it, but I don't think I should do that with Lear. As much as I'd love to eat up the whole rest of the play tonight, it's not something I want to plow through because it's so different to read. I should saaaavor it. Sweetmeats!
Oh man-- after a whole long ensemble exercise of working with one of my character's lines over and over again, I discovered that I'd said it incorrectly EVERY SINGLE TIME. I mean, I guess it's okay since nobody noticed, but I still felt kind of inwardly embarrassed. The word was "low," not "short."
