Review: Nature Republic By Flower BB cream

Nov 17, 2012 23:15

This was supposed to be reviewed 1.5 months ago before my attachment starts, but I got lazy and I procrastinated. Then work came flooding in my life that I have no time to do any reviews as I needed sleep badly more than ever ):

Well, today's review will be on Nature Republic's By Flower BB cream~

I got this bb cream at a cheap price -- $7.90 excluding shipping fee (shipping fee is $2.50).
It's my first bb cream that I've bought and dared to try and managed to use it.

However, it's running very slowly as I do not have time to put on makeup early in the morning! Awww!

Without further ado, here's how it looks like:

YESSSS! It comes with SPF 35!
So ladies, you can try this if you're lazy to apply sunscreen! :D

This bb cream not only have SPF35, it also comes in two shades -- light beige and natural beige!

Being a very fair person really sucks at times.
Back then when SHILLS was piping hot that time (in Taiwan), I bought their bb cream to try.
That period of time I was still playing around and have zero knowledge on applying bb creams (not that I'm very good now, though).

To my disappointment, their bb cream color was way off my skin tone because I'm too fair!
Then I thought that I have to buy bb creams from western countries like USA and such but not in Asia.

This buy is a plunge as I needed makeup for work and I got light beige since it's the lighter color.
I have pink undertones so that slight pink tone on light beige would probably work better than the natural beige.
Natural beige would probably work for those with yellow undertones? :/
And I'm soooo glad that it works for me.

Moving on, this is the ingredient list.

This is how it looks like when squeezed out and before application:

It's not that creamy yet not too liquid as well.
Usually a small amount can go a long way, sometimes even wasting it.

It actually blends out well, but I can't use too much of it else I'll have a ghastly look.
I do not have a concealer, so at areas where I need to conceal, I'll apply slightly more and dab it instead of spreading it.

Summary
Coverage: light to medium, buildable
Lasting power: 3-4 hours in air-conditioned area, 1-2 hours under the sun
Spread-ability: 4/5
