Happy Bath Milky Powder Yogurt Bar
Remember when I mentioned that I bought Happy Bath soap bars from gmarket in haul #3?
I'm near finishing one bar~
And that's the Milky Powder Yogurt bar that I'm currently using.
Yupps, so I'm here to finally give a review (:
In case you've forgotten how the soap bar looks like, it looks like this:
Pros:
♥ Smells like baby powder
♥ Makes the skin feels soft, silky and moisturized after usage
♥ Easy to grab
♥ Unique shape/size (you don't commonly see soap bars in round shape and size, right?)
♥ Lathers well even if it shrunk to a small size
♥ No synthetic smell when it's in a small size
Cons:
♥ Unable to fit into normal soap dish
♥ Makes the skin friction-less due to the soft and silky effect
♥ When the size of the soap is small, it sticks to the skin then fall onto the ground
♥ Does not last that long
♥ Base does not dry up fast
That's currently all I can think of, as of now (121113, 1715 SGT)
I know some really seems ridiculous, but yea, it is that ridiculous.
Remember when I mentioned that the smell seems synthetic? But in fact, when I was using it, it does not have the synthetic fragrance, even when it's almost used up and is alr super small.
Comparing it with the Nubian Heritage African Black Soap (NHABS) I was previously using, NHABS had this super duper synthetic smell that really puts me off when it's almost used up. That really sucks, big time! However, the super synthetic smell only comes out at times. When there's no synthetic smell, it actually smells pretty nice~
From above, I stated that one of the con is that the base does not dry up fast. So what do I mean by that?
Y'know, when soap bars are still wet and you just place them back into the soap dish immediately without letting them dry, after 15-30 mins, go pick up that soap and you'll see that the base looks "awesomely" disgusting and gooey (like totally YUCKSSS!). So usually what I did it that I'll hold it until the water at the base dry up before putting it back. I know it's a waste of time, but I'm not the only person using it. So to me, it's important to let the water evaporate to prevent getting such gooey and disgusting thing from the soap bar.
