Happy Halloween ^^o^^

To all those celebrating Halloween in various parts of the world:

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I wish I knew how to do the little sparklies around the text, but you'll just have to imagine those :D

And for the occasion: my own homemade recipe for Pumpkin Soup

Take a medium sized Hokkaido pumpkin, quarter it and remove the seeds, then cut off the peel and dice the pumpkin meat.
Peel and slice two onions and a couple of cloves of garlic
Heat two spoonfuls cold pressed oil (olive or rapeseed is good) in a pot and sauté the pumpkin, onions and garlic until they change colour.
Add a spoonful of good fresh curry powder (I make my own blend, but I'll save that recipe for another time) and mix well.
(At this point I normally add a small glass of white wine).
Pour in 1½ litres of good vegetable stock and add approximately fifty grams of concentrated tomato pure.
Cover the pot and let it boil lightly for thirty to forty five minutes.
Blend the soup and serve with fresh baked bread.

Bon appetit! :D

For your information - that squiggly thing in the subject line? It's supposed to be a bat. Yes, that's me being creative ;P
