Somebody linked the Lush site. Tell me, are they really as good as they claim? Because I am extremely tempted.

So, I just finished S1 of Star Trek: TOS, and now, to my shame, I require fic.

I have no idea where to start. HALP.

Rec me some recs? Some sites to find some? Any secret handshakes i should know?

Trekkies! (Um, Trekkers?) Advise me! I am watching TOS right now, downloading as I go. What eps can I absolutely not miss?  What eps should I skip? Which ones can i safely leave as you never remember the names of them? I am all adrift in a sea of thirty-years-of-canon-to-get-through-help.

I am currently working hard on two assignments for one class.  One is on themes of resistance in post-colonial literature, which is... not terribly interesting, though it does allow me to use words like hegemony and paradigm.  The other is on representations of "the other".  I'm focussing on sci-fi TV, because it's easy and I know it.  I'm doing ( Read more... )

Okay. So I'm merrily working away on compiling notes for my exam tomorrow, only i've hit some button in Word and suddenly there's a dot between the words instead of a space, and a funny little symbol at the end of each line, and HOW DO I TURN IT OFF HELP HELP.
