Some things
Last night was, by and large, a good night. Spend some time with Josh, made a kick-ass dinner, carved a pumpkin, watched some Babylon 5, played some of the expansion for Neverwinter Nights 2...
The only downside was a snafu in the basement. I finished painting the floor a couple days ago - it's lovely black with metallic gold splatters all over it. The guy at the store told me that it should hold up to foot traffic. What it does not hold up to, is couch traffic. There are a couple big gouges in the paint from sliding the couch several inches. Oops.
Now we have to repaint the part that got ruined - and then put some kind of finish or shellac on the entire floor, to protect it. Otherwise, when we get a table and chairs down there for gaming purposes, the floor's going to get scratched all to hell. Bah. Bah! This is why I wanted to use traffic paint. You know - what they use to paint roads. But it only came in white, yellow and gray, and we wanted black. But I bet that stuff would hold up to a few measley couches! So, I'm a little frustrated. But it's fixable!
Anyway, painting woes aside, things are excellent. I wish I could go home and play some NWN 2 expansion. My character is so badass! ;)
