The latter issue does sound slightly unnerving (uncomfortable? embarrassing? it depends, I suppose).

I have a friend or two of whom I would appreciate the opportunity to read, but renewing contact would simply cause more issues than it would relieve.

On another note, I came up with a tweak to the "Drunken Sailor" song:
