New humans and human relations.

I know it's been a while since I last updated this thing, but I think all of you managed to endure the absence quite well. Kudos.
Since the last post the most important event by far was the birth of Tyler Davis, son of Tim and Jessica. It's already clear that these two are amazing parents. Tyler is over a month old now, and extremely cute (good thing, I always find it awkward when confronted with an ugly baby; what does one say?). Jess remained petite throughout the pregnancy. If I ever have a child, I'm doomed.

I'm still looking for work. I'm getting tired of interviews and dealing with HR people. Argh. --Thus the long absence from LJ. I just haven't had the emotional energy for much.

Today I discovered the Live Journal of someone from another time in my life. I don't want to bother them, as I'm pretty sure they don't want to hear from me, but it's tempting to read the entries. I know they're essentially public, but I was uncomfortable and opted for a quick scan. Life is very odd. LJ makes it downright bizarre.
