It was Christmas Eve, and I was alone in my apartment drinking more wine than was good for me, so I decided to watch a dumb movie. Olympus Has Fallen had come highly recommended to me as a movie to slash watch on Netflix, and I was not disappointed.

Apparently they're trying to do a new Great Gatsby with Leo DiCaprio as Gatsby and Toby McGuire as Nick Carraway. I was kind of unimpressed, but then they cast Carey Mulligan as Daisy, and that actress is amazing, so now I'm willing to give it a chance.

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly from Indiewire. Pretty much sums up all my feelings. And personally for Emma Frost, I would have totally picked Tricia Helfer, who is pretty famous in the world of geek for playing Caprica Six on Battlestar Galactica re-imagined.
