Post-concert feelings were all probably lost due to lethargy but I must say, it was brilliant. Breathe is probably my favourite song for now. Her voice was so soulful and powerful. The black Patrick Watson's rendition of To Build a Home wasn't as nice but it was okay. I still like the fact they chose that in their setlist. Before the concert started, my eyes tricked me into thinking Watson came because I saw a bearded white guy wearing a cap on stage. But I think it turned out to be a crew member. Luke Flowers gave a pretty mean drum solo. His face has a thousand and one faces while playing the drums, so cheekily cute please. And omg, Tom Chant looks a bit like Daniel Faraday (character from Lost if anybody still watches it). Stayed on for the autograph session, they were all so friendly. Luke was so charming. Nick Ramm childishly drew a guitar and himself on my book. So sad didn't get much pictures. Lazy and too tired. Well, the whole concert night lumped into one bad paragraph.
Life isn't really exciting. I've just been itching to punch someone in the face and scream, "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?" Other than that, meeting Quek and Eunice was fun. NYNY killed my stomach, expanded beyond belief. Meeting Sery after TCO was lovely. She went for NERD thereafter. I heard it was amazing. I had a plot to hide in the toilet for 2 hours after TCO... but it didn't work out. Journey home after work with Penny is always hilarious. Thank god for friends or I'd kill myself.
Oh yeah, my manager gave me an unthinkable task to do. Not that I couldn't handle it (lol) but I was given approximately 3 minutes to prepare and it was 9 in the morning. My brain doesn't function so early. It was to train 5 different group of guys, mostly all waaaaaaaaaay older than me how to update a system they already know how to update. I was just there to refine the process. I was intimidated because most of them were surrounding my desk, or rather, surrounding me. And also, most of them were really older than me (not all though, some were 2-3 years older, I have their IC numbers lol), I feel very under qualified. AND that I was there for only 1 month :|. Very overwhelming experience, especially when there are 9 malay guys surrounding you, thinking you are a foreigner with red hair, and probably showing the most shocked face when they realized, "Omg, you're malay." It was crazy. Somehow, it was the most entertaining day at work for the week.
I AM SO BEHIND MUSIC, KILL ME PLEASE. Have not visited bigstereo, discodust, missingtoof, fuckyouonfriday, iheartcomix! for weeks. SO, I SUCK. So behind everything. I don't even check my lame e-mail daily now. Someone kindly update me on gossip when I'm online at work or something. I will be so grateful. This post is so meaningless.
