yo yo. nobody comments on my journal these days. i suppose that's what you get for not writing in one for 9 months or so. anyhow, today went pretty well. work was insane. still the regular 9:30-3:30, but we had the older kids today so jason and i had to actually play serious tennis with them cause they're pretty good. i did all their running drills with them as well since i've decided i could be in better shape. some of the smaller kids from last week came out, but they left around 12:30. anyways, today was both exhausting and fun because some of the kids were 15 and 16 years old and really fun to hit with. those 7 year olds are cute and all, but you just can't do that with them.
well i didn't write yesterday. i'm noticing the mad randomness that's going on between thoughts here, but i'm tired and listening to music, so i can't think too well anyways =P. we ended up not going to church as we had planned. we were gonna go to a lutheran church that i've never been to, but dad actually needed to go pick up mom from the airport (she'd been out of town 8 days, which is redonkulous). around 2 i went up to the cozzi cafe to visit martin and grab a mango maniac smoothie. as i was coming home i decided to go running, so i did a little over 3 miles and then came home around 3:20. i've been fallin behind on my reading lately, so i read a lot yesterday to try and catch up. i read days 4 and 5 of the purpose driven life and so far the book still seems like a good read.
recently i've been buying songs on itunes since my brother introduced it to me. i really like this new song i got by jack johnson called sitting, waiting, wishing. everyone should go listen to it.
anyways i've got a lot of reading i want to get done tonight so i'm gonna go get started. this past week has really opened my eyes to a lot about life, as i'm sure the next few will continue to do. as always, hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer. i tend to get bored later in the evening, so if anyone wants to go out sometime lemme know. christa is supposed to be taking me to ruby tuesday's one of these days...
well with that i'll really say goodbye, later marsupials.
