hmmm no updates for a while. summer's been started for a while now; i'm finally working and my sister has been in town from minnesota visiting us this weekend. everything's been going pretty smoothly lately, which is a cause for concern in and of itself: my grades turned out a lot better than expected which was a good start for the summer (that chem grade became an A !), won 55$ playing poker this week (muahahaha), and i really enjoy my job (for the most part). ah but i haven't said what my job is. i don't work very much, but i teach at a tennis camp for about three hours a day making like 12/hour. already i've developed even more freckles without burning too much. well anyways, there's only so much i can say about the daily activities of the last few weeks. i've quit playing the online games with monthly fees attached, but my brother and i bought a game called guild wars that came out recently so i've been spending a lot of time playing that. i've pretty much lost contact with almost anyone i knew in high school; aol is pretty worthless for keeping contact with friends. eh but i say that in every entry i write these days.
this last week i saw revenge of the sith with my family and thought it was a pretty good movie. tonight i saw a move called spanglish that i really enjoyed that my family bought on pay per view (so we saw it at home). i've decided i could forsake my bachelor ways for some kind of wonderful spanish wife one day as a result of this movie. my sister is actually still in town with us (she'll leave at 9 tomorrow morning); listening to her and my mom talk tonight, it would seem that there are a lot of events that go on within my family that i am completely unaware of. in any case, my eyes are getting tired so i'll probably go to bed pretty soon. hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer.
