My name is Anna, I'm 27 and I am a very enthusiastic (though by no means great) cook. I come from the Czech Republic and I love Czech cuisine (anybody else likes it here?), but also Japanese - as I am a japanologist and miso soup runs in my veins - and French (because it's simply classic!).
I was supposed to work hard today, but somehow I ended up procrastinating and making a lime meringue pie. Meringue pies are not commonly done in my family and this was my first ever, but I think it ended up quite okay. The cream was creamy, meringue sweet and tender and the dough was not dry, which is always a success for me. ;) (Sorry if the picture doesn't look too well.)
