roast chicken

i'm looking for some suggestions and tips for roasting chickens. what is your favorite flavor/seasoning/stuffing combination? recipes, suggestions and tips are welcome as it's my first time roasting a whole chicken. i've done other meat roasts and even a turkey but it's time for chicken so i'm after some help.
