[Bwlg (and other sounds of gagging)] Sure have! Hamburger I can eat in a lot of different ways but meatloaf still holds no appeal.

Brussel Sprouts. Boiled to death until they were bitter and gommy. I, uh, still haven't cooked them for myself, but I understand they're awesome roasted and plan to try it sometime when I can find them in my craptacular grocery store.

I really just remember "Eat it cuz its good for you, just have like 4 of them and that will be enough"
eck
yeah, they are good I blanch them, then slice them and saute them with a bit of bacon and lemon and balsamic vinegar

Pretty much. Fried with tons of garlic is the best way to eat anything.

my mother is an excellent cook, actually *preens and looks all proud and shit* although i will confess that i despise grilled chicken; something about the texture of it and the taste of char just... ugh. i like roast chicken, fried chicken, baked chicken, not grilled chicken.

I would agree with this. I don't really like grilled chicken. It just always seems a bit dry, even when it's not... ew.

unless it's smothered in barbecue sauce with knoll's chicken rice side, otherwise get that shit out.

my mom actually never ruined anything for me :\ she hates that i find new ways or recipes now and have improved a few things (asparagus, my lasagna, my meatloaf is completely different)

but mostly i ask her for help or recipes if im stuck. now baking, im a way better baker and she quit baking when i turned 10.

does she now cook things your way?

I think its just too cool when methods pass back up the line and you get to hand over methods and recipes back to mom and dad.
