I couldn't get my camera in quick enough to get a picture, but the following was gobbled last night:
Fudge Pie (made from Paula Dean's Old Fashioned Fudge Pie recipe) - 2 oz semi sweet chocolate melted down with a stick of butter. Add a cup of sugar, two eggs. Beat well, pour into pie crust (I used frozen, because I was also making up ice cream - see below) and bake at 375 for about 30 minutes (Paula's recipe calls for 25, but it was a gooey mess after 25, less gooey but still awesome at 30.)
Topped with Banana Bread Ice Cream: In a blender, puree four ripe bananas with a sploosh of lemon juice. Add simple syrup (3/4 cup brown sugar with 3/4 cup water, melt sugar). Add teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, pinch salt (I always use freshly grated nutmeg - the flavor seems better), 1/4 tsp vanilla, 1 cup whipping cream. Blend it all up again. Pour into ice cream maker (watch it - this gets thick in a hurry, and after 45 minutes it stopped churning). While it's churning, mix up 1 cup brown sugar, another tablespoon of cinnamon, nutmeg, 1 teaspoon of ginger, crushed walnuts, and a teaspoon of molasses. Fold into finished ice cream (for a totally rocking swirl).
Serve ice cream over the fudge cake for extra awesomeness.
