Get-Up-And-Go Foods?

I teach. (Computer Age Philosophy...)

My daily schedule is always full of things to do. I'm up at 5 AM, I'm at work by 6:30. Once i enter the building I have about an hour before the kids start filing in, and there's usually plenty of cleaning, grading, or photocopying to be done during this time. This means that the only time I have to eat is in the car on the way to work!

I usually stop at Dunkin' Donuts on the way there, because I love their coffee, and because I need breakfast. My schedule has me eating lunch at noon, about 7 hours after I wake up, so I need to eat something in the morning... and it isn't healthy, but I often get the DD breakfast sandwiches. I feel HUGE when I eat them, but I find that a bagel and cream cheese leave me starving by lunchtime.

I used to try and bring cereal or yogurt and fruit in to work to eat, but I just didn't have the time. I've tried bringing a bagel, but it just doesn't keep me full until I eat again (I love how they say you should eat several small meals, and yet the daily schedule doesn't allow the time). Is there SOMETHING out there that I could eaither make ahead of time, or take along with me that I could eat on the road? Something hand-held, and something that doesn't need to get heated up...
