Right, idea hit me when I was reading another fic, takes off their basic premise but different.
Basically Sakura's captured, Gaara gets dragged in as well. Because they need to torture him for info, she has to heal him up. Pfft, foolish faceless enemy-nin that don't have medics. It'll be a back and forth between them.
There are a few things I'd like to do with it, I'd really like them to form a friendship, have each other to push back off when the war gets worse and reason to not give in. I wound actually be pleased with just friendship, but I like my shippy, so I am thinking if there is anything, it'll be weird. It won't be dramatic, just the simple state of people under physical and mental stress with no sense of night or day and completely opposite senses of self.
I know it's sort of cannon flavoured, in that it happens in Naruto verse, instead of my usual picking up the characters and slinging them off into a mutation of usual Naruto-verse. Or I could just leave whoever it is they are captured by be faceless. Or I could set it in the future, but then I'd have to figure out who they were fighting, HRNG.
It'll be four chapters I think. Don't know how long each chapter would be. Each chapter would be a week long.
