Re-watching Naruto.
FDJKSFJDKS Hyuuga's family story always makes me WEEP LIKE A BABY. GUUUUUUUH.
I realised that Naruto's females have a lot of problems.... but watching the Chunnin Exams again, I love how they openly stated that it wasn't okay for a girl to just worry about her hair and clothes and expect everyone to look after her, not when there is fighting and work to be done. That there is no excuse for not doing hard work, just because you're a girl. I mean its not perfect, there is still a shit ton wrong with it... but maybe it isn't as bas as I remember. Sakura and Ino, at least, do better then a lot of other women in anime DEATH NOTE, BAKUMAN, I AM LOOKING AT YOU, even if Sakura seems to have personal realisations at THE WORST MOMENTS, she still does fight. Especially after getting my ass together and catching up from Gaara's speech onwards. Jesus the fights scenes have been epic.
