Yeah this is pretty much all I got lately. Realized I'm a Geek Girl, not a Gamer Girl. Love that song in any case.
Movie script is coming along pretty damn well. If slow. I am trying to get as much in as I can before my final exams happen. Because then I have to story board and actually do some serious hunting for locations and organizing equipment (I have several in mind, but yo know, the usual problems of locations and such). I was thinking breaking it into two parts. Again this is going to be for internet only use, so we don't have to shoot in hi-def. And most of my friends have pretty decent hi quality camera's, so I think on that regard, we are okay on that front.
I realized I get a pretty damn big thrill out of organizing things like this. I feel really aware all the time, and its fantastic. So far I am the closest thing we have to a director. Terrifying notion, isn't it? Which is dangerous because I don't know everything that we need to do, especially on the technical management side. Especially to do with equipment and such. In between everything else, I am trying to learn about the making process of movies. The years of watching special features has paid off! Now just comes the slow haul of detail work. It's going to be weird. Australian movies are never like this. They're all about personal relationship, Australian culture and everything else. The one exception was Gabriel, they had a small budget and that movie came out pretty damn good and has nothing to do with Australia. My mind has worked out ways around several problems on our pretty much nonexistent budget. Wouldn't it be awesome if this was America and there was some actor that wouldn't mind helping. Harharharhar, keep dreaming, this is Australia, no one cool is here.
Anyway, I has lots to do. I best be off.
