I suppose I should follow the advice of an old proverb: "There's no time like the present".
Truly, I have no reason to continue succumbing to such childish notions. Up until this point, I have done my best to carry out my duties; I have tried to be an ideal soldier - I have not allowed myself to cry, nor have I allowed myself to sway in my beliefs. Continuing on like this is unacceptable... I have faced many of my private fears, but this one still lingers. I'll conquer this one, too.
I've finished my report. I suspect it would be best to submit a copy during the guild meeting, although I'm not yet certain what I'll be doing afterwards.
