Got myself a dry box!

One day I woke up in the early chilly morning. I was in horror as I saw my dry hands. The hands seemed to be ready to crack into different pieces.

That was the moment when I decided to get a dry box!

BECAUSE I COULD NOT LET THAT HAPPEN TO MY CAMERA AND LENS!!!

This afternoon I went out to collect the monopod head that I purchased last month. The shop didn't have stock then. So I thought it would be convenient to check out the prices for the dry boxes. I have already got the size and brand in mind. Although there are much cheaper mainland version for these dry boxes, I decide to buy the more expensive brand from Taiwan. The brand is called Eureka. I bought the DX-76 for $1750 HKD including delivery. With the same price, I could actually buy 2 mainland made dry boxes of bigger sizes as well!

My logic is I rather buy a good quality dry box rather than getting a cheap one that might fail its function at any unexpected occasion. The risk is just too much and my course of action is to pay more to get a peace of mind!

The dimension of the dry box is W40 x H55.5 x D41.2. The volume is 68L.

Originally I intend to wait till I have my own place, but I can't wait any longer after I saw the effects on my hands!

Anyway, a dry box is good to keep the moisture at an acceptable level for your expensive equipments. It can also be used to store food, CDs, and anything that you can think of.

P.S. I also collected my quilts from my uncle's place because the weather has been quite cold here.
