Movie Review: Iron Man (2008)
I can't remember a time when I've had as much fun watching a movie. It's been a while, let me tell you. But it wasn't a perfect movie. The parts of the movie I did like... the action scenes, specifically the first time Iron Man kicks some ass, and just how much fun it was to watch it... the relationship between Tony and Pepper, especially the scene where she says she won't help him... Tony's character, in general, is perfectly flawed and very likeable. The parts I didn't like... the bad guy was just kinda blah for me, and although I know why he betrayed Tony (saw it coming from a mile away) a little more clarification would have been nice... kinda slow at parts, especially at the beginning when they're introducing the characters (they could have done that better, I think). All in all, the good things definately outway the bad things, and I'm already looking forward to a sequel.
Conclusion: I won't say this for many movies, but this one is actually worth the money to go see in theaters, because the action scenes are just that good.
