You can't kill a king!
They can and they did. On this day, the 21st of January, in 1793 King Louis the XVI of France was executed in Place de la Révolution, Paris, on the charge of having committed "a multitude of crimes in order to establish his tyranny by destroying the liberty of the people". And Archie and Horatio finally found a way to escape from Purgatory....
"He's dead!"

"No, you fool, not Clayton, Louis. The frogs have murdered their king, tried and executed for crimes against the people. It means war Horatio, don't you understand? It means war!"
(I got the remastered dvds for Christmas. Look at the screencaps...looook at them! It's all I can do to stop myself from stroking the screen :)
