Talk about the weather.

It rains a lot in Baltimore. If you don't believe me, ask Adam Duritz and Counting Crows; they wrote a song about it. Being born and raised there, though, it's normal to me. I'm used to rain, and cold, and a little wind, and a lot of grey skies. It's those people with the sun and seventy-two degree temperatures that are freaks. (That was me joking, before I get a bunch of angry comments from people on the West Coast.)

I actually kind of like it; it gives everything character and a bit of a film noir feel. It toughened me up, too. When I used to have to travel, on the X-Files, going to other climates or to bad weather didn't bother me at all. I despise Boston because of the subways, not because of the rain and cold.

This isn't to say I don't like sun and heat and nice weather; there's nothing like a nice day out at the ballpark. And the time I spent in San Diego - when I was together, at least - on the beach with Victor? That was really nice. I'll always enjoy those things. I think I'm just used to the opposite, though.
