Fingernails claw welts down his back. It's her mouth, hot cinnamon. Her skin, sweet, damp, no perfume but the salt scent of ocean. She spreads her legs wider, coaxing Richard in. Of course, he obliges.
"I love you," he stammers. His voice catches in his throat, breathless.
Alex murmurs something back, unheard.
"If Ben finds out -"
"He won't," she insists. "Richard, please..."
Maybe it's wrong, but Richard does it anyway.
