'Twas the Day After Christmas 2009...

Slept in for a little while, but got out of bed and got breakfast and coffee made and sat in the hot tub. Then showered and set off for Port Townsend for a day of working RETAIL.

For the next 8 1/2 hours I greeted lots of LOOKERS - but very few BUYERS.
But I did talk to a guy interested in a custom order - and it might turn out to be a pretty good sized one. He took my card (and has even emailed me already with some of the info!!)
Oh well, not a stellar day sales-wise ...
Drove home and had some dinner, read some emails, and went to bed.
An OK day for the day after Christmas. I was kept busy and interested.
Sunday, December 27th.
Slept in until I felt like getting up.
That's a luxury that I haven't had since April!!
Did some chores around the house and sat in the hot tub with the YUMMIEST drink...
I put Hot Buttered Rum batter in a large insulated coffee mug. Added cream, Kahlua, sweetener, and coffee. YUM!!!
Tonight's dinner will be the rest of the duck and sweet potato, then pumpkin pie for dessert.
Christmas weekend will soon be over.
Back to the diet tomorrow!!
Next big hurdle is New Year's Eve.
Luckily, I have never been real big on that one. But I think it will be good to reflect on this year. It has certainly been one unlike ANY that I have ever experienced.
