Goodbye ANZ, Hello DBYD!
So I was not offered a permanent position at ANZ, maybe a month and a half ago. I was not performing as well as I might have and i'd had a number of sick days, but I was doing a good job and getting on with everybody... except my manager.
So.. after spending a week looking for work, Nikki says that her old work are looking for people, and here I am, a month or so in to a job with Dial before you Dig. Need to know where those pesky underground pipes and cables are? You'd no doubt end up talking to me or one of the other lovely people who I have the pleasure of working with.
The money is a bit of a drop from what I had at ANZ but I don't hate the job or some of the people, and that's worth a lot.
Hobby stuff has been going well. My plan to have 750 pts worth of Orks painted is well on the way and i'm getting all my stuff more streamlined so I can use it, rather than spending the malority of my time rifling around for bits and pieces, only to discover i've thrown it out. Meh.
Life and friends and love are all going well and taking up equal measure for me, so i'm good.
