Dream weirdness
I sat up in bed this morning, clutching and moving around my doona. Once I realised what i was doing, I woke up completely.
After spending the better part of the evening cutting fabric from Amandas patterns for Rainbow Serpent, I had been trying to adjust the doona the right way for cutting it and making scissor motions with my hands. Oh how I chuckled.
After being on a two week break from the temp work I was doing over chrissy and NYE, I went back to work to find the contract we're supposed to be working on had been moved back AGAIN and they were going to train us in something else til it was available. Outbound Collections to be precise and nothing else available either.
I told them "Thanks, but no thanks." After I left, I called the lady at the recruitment place to let them know why and to keep looking for stuff for me. I got a call 2 days later asking me questions that I already answered when I called here.. Wtf?! I'm gonna write an e-mail and let them know how unhappy I am with their consistent dropping of the ball. Hays Recruitment... no thanks.
Other than that, i've been well. Spending time with a lovely lass *Ponyo!* and doing hobby/warhammer stuff has been making me a happy chappy. Back at Trav and Amandas after a month and a bit of house-sitting, wherein a lot of hobby stuff was done and many DVD's watched. Huzzah!
I think I will leave off looking for work until after Rainbow Serpent.. i'll keep my feelers out and go for interviews, but will let them know i'm available after the 27th. Phew.
